Abstract Information

Abstracts should be sent to

Deadline for receipt of abstracts is March 26, 2018. The first-named author will be notified in April regarding acceptance of the abstract and whether it will be a platform or poster presentation.

You are invited to submit an abstract for consideration for a physical poster presentation or an oral platform presentation at the conference.

Research topics for presentation include the following:

  • clinical
  • neuropsychological
  • neuroimaging and neuropathological manifestations of concussion and its consequences. This includes postconcussion syndrome (PCS) and neurodegeneration, including chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE)



The abstract should be 250 words or less and should contain the title of the presentation, the presenter(s) (without degrees), location of research, and the following headings:

  • Background
  • Objective(s)
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions


Selected abstracts will be published in the program and posted on our website after the conference.
