Enjoy the Outdoors:

• Hiking in Gatineau Park: www.ncc-ccn.gc.ca/places-to-visit/gatineau-park/things-to-do/hiking-walking-gatineau-park. Here there is no admission fee and trails vary in difficulty and length.
• Magnificence of Chaudière Falls www.ottawa2017.ca/magnificence-of-chaudiere-falls. An ambient lighting display will illuminate the falls. Accompanied by a rich soundscape, the experience will evoke the culture of Indigenous people and in particular highlight the Algonquin heritage of the region. The show is approximately a 30-minute walk or 5-minute cab ride from Parliament Hill.
