Robert Lam, MD, MS, CCFP, FCFP
Robert Lam, MD, MS, CCFP, FCFP (Care of the Elderly) is Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Toronto and has an active family practice in the Toronto Western Family Health Team. He provides geriatric consultations in the Falls Prevention Program of the Seniors Wellness Clinic of the University Health Network and is an attending physician in the Geriatric Rehabilitation Program of the Toronto Rehab.
Dr. Lam completed his medical school and family medicine residency training at The University of Western Ontario. He received a Master of Science degree in family medicine and gerontology from the University of Minnesota where he also completed a geriatrics fellowship and obtained the certificate of added qualifications in geriatric medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Lam is vice president of the Canadian Geriatrics Society and representative on the College of Family Physicians of Canada Health Care of the Elderly Committee.
