Dr. Jason De Melo
Dr. Jason De Melo is a post-doctoral fellow at the University Health Network (UHN) where his current focus is on how the MYC oncogene is post-translationally regulated. During his doctoral studies at McMaster University, Jason helped run large multi-intuitional undergraduate courses in both biochemistry and nutrition. He completed training in university education and co-authored research on best-practises in student assessment. Jason will be aided by UHN trainees during the instruction of this course with a student to instructor ratio of 4:1.
